My Personal Cancer Experience

3/3/14 – Finally have all the paperwork, and back and forth talk, with the federal government completed. They said we should know their final decision in the next 3-4 months. So we wait. I guess I should let you know a little about me. My name is Craig, at the age of 27 I had a full tonic-clonic seizure while golfing with my friends. Hours later while in the emergency room, I found out there was a mass in my brain. That moment changed the course of my life as 1 week later I underwent a partial surgical resection of a tumor and diagnosed as having an Oligodendrioglioma brain tumor, coincidentally about the size of a golf ball. I then underwent 3 rounds of chemotherapy and 5 weeks of radiation. And here I am now, trying to create a non profit foundation so help others.
