Loyal Supporters and Friends:

At the young age of 27, I experienced a seizure while preparing to putt in a golf tournament. I would come to find out it was caused by a brain tumor. Like many others, I underwent brain surgery, chemotherapy and radiation which slowed the tumor growth. During this experience I realized there was nowhere to turn for support within our local community. For this reason, I developed a non-profit organization to raise brain cancer awareness in Nebraska. I write this letter to ask if you would be able to make a donation towards our 6th Annual Golf Scramble.

Save the Brain Campaign strives to create a greater understanding and awareness of brain cancer through the education of all those impacted by a brain cancer diagnosis. As an employee and patient at Nebraska Medicine, Save the Brain Campaign has teamed up with this wonderful organization to assist in funding vital cancer awareness and support.

We are expecting around 200 people to attend this event. The event will be held on May, 16th, 2020 and will provide 18 holes of golf, lunch, pin prizes, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. In the past 5 years, Save the Brain Campaign was able to raise over $50,000 towards research and awareness. However in 2020, we strive to do better!

We work hard to make Save the Brain Campaign a successful community awareness non-profit organization, but can only achieve this if we are given crucial support by local businesses like yourself. Any monetary contribution or gift donation you can make is much appreciated.

Save the Brain campaign is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Yours sincerely,

Craig Harrison
